Qtel’s new Nojoom rewards programme has become a major hit of the summer, registering over 30,000 new members in the first three weeks of availability.
The Nojoom programme, which has been designed to thank Qtel’s customers for their engagement with the company, provides points every time customers use Qtel services, which can be exchanged for gifts and services.
Over 25,000,000 points have been issued since the programme was launched, and nearly 2,000,000 points have been redeemed, with members claiming a range of free rewards and reductions on Qtel services.
Customers spending QR1 are rewarded with one Nojoom point.
Crowds have gathered at Qtel’s special booths over the weekend to sign-up for the programme. The new dedicated Website for Nojoom which shows the wide range of gifts available, including Shopping Vouchers, Cinema Tickets, Qatar Airways’ Qmiles and Qtel Services receives thousands of unique visitors every day.
Adel Al Mutawa, Executive Director, Group Communications, Qtel said: “Nojoom is one of the biggest, most immediate successes in Qtel’s history. We are delighted with the response, and we believe that, as Nojoom continues to develop and offers a wider variety of rewards, more people across Qatar will join the programme.”
Nojoom is accessible for FREE to every Qatar resident who uses Qtel services.
Each and every time customers use Qtel services, they receive Nojoom points. As customers earn more Nojoom Points, they move from the entry level of ‘Nojoom Blue’ through to ‘Nojoom Silver’ and then to ‘Nojoom Gold’ Status. The programme has been developed so that, the higher the membership status a customer has, the more privileges they are entitled to.
Nojoom members are able to redeem points at the Nojoom website at www.qtel.com.qa and give rewards to friends and family as well.
Qtel has joined forces with a range of top quality companies for the rewards programme, to ensure that the range of rewards matches the diverse lifestyles of the people of Qatar. Giant Stores, Grand Cinemas, Qatar Airways and Virgin Megastore are among the first wave of partners supporting the programme, with more major names set to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
