Advertising spend to witness quick recovery in Arab world

An announcement by the Dubai Press Club stated that the Arab Media Outlook 2009-2013 will be released on February 9th, 2010 at a special function and followed by a discussion on the importance of local content creation. Statements prior to the release have stated that the Arab world is expecting a quick recovery to resume its position as one of the fastest growing regions worldwide in terms of advertising spend.

"The next few years will see some major developments in the region's media industry. As the quality and quantity of locally-produced content improves, both consumers and industry players will start to see substantial benefits.” According to Maryam bin Fahad, Executive Director, Dubai Press Club.
