The Role
Overview
A locally based FMCG company is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for leading the development of the Category Marketing Strategy for the food/culinary business and continue the growth across the UAE and GCC Reporting to the Head of Marketing, consumer, you will lead a brand manager and be responsible for all processed food products in the portfolio. This role requires superior strategic, consumer insight and market analysis capability to direct and guide the business to a growth position Accountability include but not limited:- An ability to work across and develop multiple brands in different food categories will be fundamental to success. Expertise in working across different sales channels including HORECA, Grocery, CVS and Traditional trade. An understanding and working knowledge of the GCC and MENA region will be highly regarded The role will demand product innovation skills with new category development and brand extension launches to drive market share growth. Expertise in building consumer engagement will be required for the development and execution of advertising, consumer promotion, social media and trade marketing programs. Strong commercial acumen is essential to drive sustainable profitable growth for the business. Leading cross functional teams and working closely with external agencies will be key to success thus strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to work well with others will be highly regarded.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Business management, preference in Marketing Minimum 7 years of experience in a food/Culinary category role Fluent in English – additionally Arabic is preferred Experience of NPD/NPL A minimum of 3 years in the Middle East Arabic speaking is a preference, but not essential Ability to travel in KSA and other GCC countries

Main Duties:
Corporate Communications Dept.
1.Assist in preparation of Ads & Collaterals. Writing, Editing, & Proof reading 2.Assist with the production of FH publications, such as FH magazines. 3.Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media. 4.Event management, including press conferences and promotional events. 5.Attending and promoting FH’s events to the media. 6.Collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage. 7.Assist in the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation. 8.Preparing regular media reports. 9.Assist in preparation of presentations. 10.Assist in monitoring of Media Presence. 11.Liaising on a daily basis with AM-CCD on overall PR activities. 12.Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for FH group. 13. Perform other office related task assigned by the line manager.

An exciting opportunity exists for a experienced UAE National for a new position- Assistant Vice President, External communications for a well recognized educational institute based in Abu Dhabi.
Reporting to the VP External communications, you will be responsible for positioning and promoting the the client across multiple audiences and across diverse channels. Functions include marketing and branding, event management, creative services, web communications and media relations. You will also be responsible for managing the external partnerships unit which develops collaborations and identifies areas of cooperation in the private sector, government agencies, non-profit organizations and academic institutions.
You will be a brand ambassador for the business with VIP's and developing an understanding of proper protocols, interact with Arabic-speaking media organizations and personalities.
Your existing relationships with the Arab media will be crucial to the success of this role
