We are currently looking for a Marketing Director for their expanding team based in Riyadh and travelling in Saudi Arabia. Very exciting project to launch a central marketing team from zero for a very large and successful global company.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Able to build and manage a team from start to 20 head count using the amazing brand portfolio to build a marketing strategy and create a central Marketing team in head office with regional support.
Reporting to: CEO and CMO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Hiring, training and developing an excellent new Marketing team
• Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
• Coordinate unit directors and development offices in developing communications materials, proposals and presentations materials
• Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
• Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
• Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
• Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
• Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
• Determine and manage the marketing budget
• Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
• Develop pricing strategy
• Liaison with media and advertising
• Participate in working groups to plan, coordinate and execute original communications products and publications related to special events and programs
SALARY
• Salary package will depend on experience levels and interview performance and should be used as a guide ONLY
• Up to 33k SAR per month base salary plus benefits
• Benefits include Accommodation, Transport and Healthcare
• This can be negotiable depending on the Candidate’s experience|

Skills
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• 8+ Years experience in Marketing and Communications
• At least 2 years in a Director level position/ Senior Marketing Manager/ Group Marketing Manager
• Experience in Fashion Retail is preferred
• Able to build and manage a team from scratch to 20 head count
• Fluent Arabic & English preferred
• Must have international experience with strong company/ brand

Basic Purpose:
Duties and Responsibilities in Details
· Participating with the Company GM in setting short and long term business strategies for achieving company general objectives.
· Setting budget for Marketing Department in coordination with the Finance Department at the company to be submitted to the GM for review and approval.
· Controlling the financial performance of the Department and keep it within the set budget.
· Setting marketing strategies and plans to achieve targets and monitoring the achievement of these plans.
· Administering and recommending pricing policies according to cost analysis provided by finance department, and according to studying competitors' prices and market studies.
· Setting plans for increasing market share, attracting new customers through forming the competitive image of the company.
· Monitoring the market trend to specify the high profit areas or products.
· Monitoring public relations activities, mass media, press releases, newsletters and company website and ensuring they are reflect and promote the company image
· Overseeing the identification of market needs, segmenting, estimating the market size and participating in the formulation of a business development strategy and plan for the Product
· Overseeing the planning, launching of new product, by ensuring product specification, packaging, printing and design elements are up to the company standards and image.
· Coordinating with National Sales Department to determine the sales target according to the market researches in collaboration with the concerned product manager

· Keeping updated and applying newest techniques related to marketing studies, marketing processes, public relations, advertising and promotions in addition to newest ideas and marketing programs.
· Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discussing their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly.
· Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
· Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company.
· Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned personnel in the Human Resources Section

· Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company performing any other duties related to his/her job as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
Required Educational Level and Certificates
B.A. marketing equivalent, Master degree is preferred
Required Experience
At least ten years of experience in a similar field

Markets and possible regions for growth
Marketing strategic planning
Professional knowledge in Marketing tools and techniques such as Pricing, and Promotions techniques.
