This week Abu Dhabi Media launched a month-long celebration of the United Arab Emirates' 40th anniversary. Leading up to National Day on December 2, Abu Dhabi Media's brands will unveil special content and features to commemorate this important milestone.

Al Ittihad: In addition to its extensive editorial coverage, including a daily feature on events from the past 40 years, the paper has created a special section on its website to celebrate National Day at: www.alittihad.ae/nationalday. Here, readers can find out more about the history of the UAE and share their own thoughts and photos to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
The National: The paper is offering a special National Day supplement reviewing the past 40 years and the significant events, people and developments that have shaped each decade. The National will also be offering special editorial features throughout the month including, 40@40: A Series of 40 Objects that have shaped the UAE.
Abu Dhabi TV: Abu Dhabi Al Emarat and Abu Dhabi Al Oula will be featuring a variety of documentaries and special programs covering the unification journey and this year's celebration. In addition, look for daily segments on the news show Oloum Al Dar and a televised Operetta which will feature 55 singers from across the UAE.
Abu Dhabi Radio Network: The network of radio stations including Quran Kareem, Star FM, Abu Dhabi Classic FM, Abu Dhabi Radio and Emarat FM will be offering exclusive interviews and special 40th Anniversary programming throughout the month.
Majid: The popular children's magazine is producing a special 40th anniversary edition for young readers to learn more about the UAE's past achievements and ambitious plans for the future.
ADMCSport.com: The sports website will be featuring a series of online articles focusing on UAE sporting landmarks, including Yas Marina Circuit and Ferrari World, as well as profiles on famous UAE athletes such as Olympic Gold Medalist Sheikh Ahmad bin Hasher.
