Leo Burnett Beirut’s participation in the Golden Drum Awards, held in Slovenia, has been a major milestone, awarded seven trophies and named Advertising Agency of the Year. Leo Burnett Beirut is the first agency from the Middle East to win the accolade.
The campaigns which have contributed to Leo Burnet’s great success were the Hariri Foundation ‘Khede Kasra’; awarded two Grand Prixs in Outdoor & Media categories, and a golden award in PR, Pert Plus ‘Stop the Suffering’; awarded the Golden Watch and Silver Drum, and BETA; winning a Golden Drum.

Leo Burnett Beirut has won advertising Agency of the Year. The Golden Drums, held in Slovenia, received 2,474 submissions from agencies that came from 41 countries. At the competition Leo Burnett Beirut won seven awards and as a result is the first agency from the Middle East to win the accolade.

Leo Burnett Beirut has won the Middle East’s first Cannes Lion this year by winning a gold award for its ‘Khede Kasra’ campaign in the PR category. The winning campaign was for the the Hariri Foundation who wanted to address the imbalance of gender roles in Lebanese society through their “Women Empowerment Program”.
