Saudi Telecom will be honoured with the Dubai Lynx Advertiser of the Year Award for 2010. Their distinguished and creative marketing has carried out great efforts through sponsorship programmes, which included the sponsorship of 12 clubs. STC won two Gold Media Lynx awards for their "New Day New Dawn" re-branding campaign in 2009.

STC is the regional forerunner in entering the sports investment field and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first and only company to sponsor 12 clubs in the same league through its partnership with all the major Saudi football teams.
