You will use your knowledge to promote our entire offer, using the relevant communication in order to reach the many people and satisfy their needs and it will be your goal to create demand by attracting more consumers to become new customers and ensuring our existing customers shop with us more frequently.
Key responsibilities:
Consumer/Customer
 
* Lead and manage your team and the local marketing managers to understand our national market demographics, the economy, our competitors, consumers' living situations and shopping behaviours.
* Ensure we use these insights to create a country communication/marketing strategy that is relevant to different consumer needs and strengthens our position on the market in order to build long-term sales growth and profitability
* Lead and manage your marketing team and work with the store teams to ensure we communicate our total offer in all appropriate media, internal and external, and in doing so establish the IKEA Brand as the leading home furnishing expert in our market
* Ensure all messages to both consumers and co-workers in all media are clear and honest, supporting the IKEA values
* Actively promote our social and environmental commitment and work with our consumers' to understand how, together, we can contribute to sustainability.آ 
 
Commercial
 
* Grow and increase our share of the home furnishing market by combining the global communication and commercial strategies with Country priorities into our Country communications/marketing strategy that willآ  optimiseآ  business opportunities for the region
* Work with colleagues in the Country management group to develop the Country business plan
* Work with the commercial team to create a commercial calendar for the region based on global priorities and Country potential in order to achieve our stated goals and KPIs.
* Implement our regional communications/marketing strategy
* Ensure the strength of each media channel is maximised and that the total media mix is seamlessly integrated to create one consistent message in our market, both in-store and externally, with the objective of becoming the leader in life at home.

Ensure the communication/marketing strategy supports the achievement of the agreed goals for the region
Set Key performance Indicators (KPIs) based on consumer conversion rates, traffic driving and national cost goals
Constantly monitor our performance against IKEA objectives and agreed goals, adapting and taking action accordingly
Take responsibility for the marketing budget and ensure cost efficiency at all times
Evaluate the return on investment of any communication initiatives to ensure value for money and the achievement of our stated objectives
Control costs by working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way using good examples and encouraging your team and your colleagues to discover even more effective ways of working
Requirements
The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience -

Educated to Degree level in Marketing and / or Management / Economics / Engineering
 
*
10+آ years experience in a similar role preferably in a multinational FMCG / retail environment or an account management role from multinational advertising agencies
 
*
Strategic planning and analytical skills
 
*
Effective communication
 
*
Strong people and time managment skills
 
آ Previous Ikea experience is highly desired.
