Our client are a retailer based in Dubai, who manage large shopping malls.
 
The role exists in order to sell niche advertising space to retailers.
This includes selling space such as LED screens, space in elevators, bill boards, maps and parking areas.
 
Mall media is a relatively new medium for advertising space, and the retailers respond very positively to calls about such advertising.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in any subject.
Media Sales Background.
Lively, energetic, and professional personality.
You need to have an exisiting list of Marketing contacts in organisations in the UAE.
You will already hold a role as Media Sales Manager.

Job Summary

Key Focus of the Role: 

The Advertising Manager is expected to maximize advertising revenues from media agencies and clients through proactive sales activities. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
* Build strong face to face relationships with key contacts at all levels from a prescribed set of media agencies, maintaining a high level of contact via the telephone, meetings and attending industry events 
* Develop a strong understanding of Brownbook magazine & www.brownbook.ae 
* Adapt relevant sales presentations & proposals to each sales opportunity to achieve the advertisers’ objectives while increasing market share 
* Generate advertising revenues in both publishing and online formats, ensuring all bookings are followed up and recorded accurately 
* Achieve sales targets set by Directors considering not only revenue but also yield 
* Working with Business Development Director to devise sales strategies to ensure effective planning and preparation for your advertising agency portfolio & category sectors 
* Proactive sales prospecting and lead generation 
* Report accurately on business prospects in weekly sales meetings 
* Ensure that all Key performance Indicators are achieved (KPI’s)
 
Skills
 
* 2+ years media sales experience 
* Publishing and online media sales experience preferred 
* Intelligent sales person, with natural influencing skills 
* Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
