French cheese-manufacturer, Président, has commissioned JWT Tunisia to come up with this ad campaign, targeted at the local market. The campaign depicts cartoon figures that have grown into giants, thanks to their daily diet of Président cheese, which is rich in Calcium. Thumbs up for a campaign that not only speaks in the language of its target market, but also thinks like the targeted customers. The second installment can be seen here.

Cozmo, a major superstore retailer in Amman has rolled out its latest ad campaign, by Team/Y&R Amman. It features various landmarks around the world, and associates them with Cozmo in order to accentuate the novelty factor that consumers enjoy at Cozmo, because "There's Only One Cozmo". Trader Vic’s hosts its first tweet up

Believing in the power of social media and its effectiveness in Jordan, Trader Vic’s gathered 30 of Amman’s most active tweeps to experience Trader Vic’s in a new way.

As the guests arrived to the bar area and enjoyed their welcome drink, our bar manager was getting ready to show them how to make the Famous Mai Tai and Tika Puka Puka. The guests also where introduced to the history of the Mai Tai created by the found of Trader Vic’s.

The tweeps then moved to the dinning area where dinner was served. The seated dinner included the famous house appetizers such as: Beef Cho Cho’s, crab Rangoon, and deep fired calamari, then were introduced to the famous main dishes that were cooked to perfection in front of them. To end up the night with a grand finale, our tweeps enjoyed a variety of exotic fruits and delicious desserts.

This is a campaign with a familiar look, if you recall the Obama campaign poster from 2008. What NINTEEN84 in Lebanon have done is adopt it for their client Shawarma Republic, and the results are quite eye-catching!

The ad campaign features a

chicken

sheep

and a

cow

that have ‘evolved and changed’ to turn into tasty sandwiches under the slogan ‘United we Sandwich’. NINTEEN84 also created a

TV commercial

for Shawarma Republic, which has a funny but powerful idea of a

DJ spinning shawarma

, again emphasising the main themes of ‘Change, Improve and Evolve’.
