The campaign depicts how Ducab's core business, cable-manufacturing, is the lifeline of Dubai's infrastructure, and by extension, how its products have helped further push various sectors, throughout the real estate industry, and in virtually every other office.

All About Brands helps to position Mubadala on the international stage

All About Brands recently launched two television commercials as part of a wider MENA and international campaign for Mubadala Development Company, an Abu Dhabi based investment and development company.

The campaign, which was launched in November, has been designed to proactively shape perceptions of the Mubadala brand amongst international influencers; enhancing the company’s ability to build and secure critical relationships in new markets.

Each of the commercials were written and conceived by Simon Impey, the Creative Director of All About Brands’ advertising division, and look to illustrate the impact that Mubadala’s projects are having on the international community.

The campaign will run for a period of 12 months and extends across a number of broadcast, digital and print media channels. Boomtown Productions were the company responsible for the production of all films, which were each shot by acclaimed international director Hadi Shuaib.

Of the campaign, Simon Impey said; “We are very proud of this project; the opportunity to conceive and deliver a campaign that spans multiple geographies, sectors and channels does not come along very often.”

“Our challenge was to illustrate the impact of Mubadala’s investments beyond the borders of the UAE, in a way that was compelling and emotive. I believe that, the films we have delivered are distinct, and indicative of the impact that Mubadala is having both at home, and abroad, and we are looking forward to broadening the concept out over the coming months”.

The annual 49th New York Film Festival, will take place from September 30th until October 16th, 2011. The festival will showcase various movies, cartoons, radio broadcasts and short film documentaries including WHAM! BAM! ISLAM!, a story of the first superheroes from the Muslim world, The 99.

It tells the story of a Kuwaiti psychologist, Dr. Naif Al-Mutawa, who launches this comic series with 99 superheroes based on the 99 virtues of Allah, and how he faces suspicion from Muslims and the harsh realities of the global marketplace.

The festival also brings together a diverse film audience including world-renowned filmmakers, with a unique blend of programmes and special anniversary screenings.
